Before

Located on the second floor of the Vidmarhallen, the studio occupied a generous industrial space with over 4m ceiling height and windows on three sides. Over more than ten years, the space had evolved incrementally and consisted of one large training room with a small dressing and storage corner.
The key strategic challenge was operational: SpinUp needed the ability to run two training groups simultaneously without compromising atmosphere, privacy or safety distances between poles. At the same time, the space required clearer zoning, improved storage and a stronger visual identity.

Inspiration

The design direction followed SpinUp’s new brand ambition: feminine, minimal, powerful — yet inclusive. A refined blush tone became the emotional anchor, paired with warm neutrals, natural wood textures and subtle black accents.
Vertical slats, arches, rounded mirrors and layered lighting reference movement and elegance, while strengthening recognisable, photo-friendly brand backdrops.

Renovation

The central design move was vertical:introducing a gallery level. This allowed the space to be restructured into two usable studio zones while integrating reception, dressing and storage areas.
- Construction of a gallery enabling simultaneous training in two areas
- Lightweight partitions and curtains for flexible zoning and improved acoustics
- Installation of three backlit arched mirrors
- Selective blush feature walls framing branding zones
- Layered lighting concept combining wall lights, spots, pendants and LED accents
- Integrated storage solutions for trainers and equipment

After

The redesigned studio now offers two clearly defined yet connected training areas, while the gallery adds perspective, storage and community space.
Blush tones introduce warmth without cliché, and the lighting adapts to different training moods. Functional clarity meets emotional presence — and the studio is instantly recognisable in photographs.

“From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for your wonderful ideas, your eye for detail, and the thoughtful solutions we developed together that have made SpinUp something truly special.
The lighting, the beautiful mirrors, the gallery, and so many carefully considered details all carry your signature. And all of this with your warm and genuine way. Working with you has been a great pleasure.”
